The Tenth Voice is the Kansas City area's only weekly broadcast created by and for LGBT folks throughout the metro region. Listeners can tune in each Saturday at 1:00 PM. Each week our team of hosts and producers present interviews, information, music, news and features especially important to Lesbians, Gay Men, Bisexuals, Trans and Allied collective communities. Since 1989, The Tenth Voice show has documented and informed the LGBTQIA Kansas City Community.

The Laramie Project film - free screening

one day after the 2012 Day of Silence
Members of New York's Tectonic Theater
Project went to Laramie, Wyoming after the
brutal murder of Matthew Shepard. This
young man was murdered solely because
he was gay.
This is a film version of the play they wrote
based on more than 200 interviews they
conducted in Laramie.
The Laramie Project is a moving account
and of Shepard's kidnap and beating, his
death and funeral, and the trial of his killers.
This event is Sponsored in cooperation with
EQUAL, Empowering Queer Activists and
Leaders Kansas City and GLSEN, Gay,
Lesbian, and Straight Education Network.
