Pandora Boxx is a drag queen known for being a popular contestant on the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, the hit reality television show. Though Pandora Boxx didn’t win that season, Boxx was known for her comedy and campy style and continued to go on to win Miss Congeniality. Boxx also become MVP two seasons in a row in the spinoff series Drag U. Boxx gives the best description from the debut episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race: Season 2: “Pandora is definitely a melting pot of different people you know. There is like a dash of Madonna, a sprinkle of Goldie Hawn, and a big chunk of Kathy Griffin thrown in there to just kind of like fuse it all together into this melted pot of goo that becomes Pandora.” But Pandora Boxx is more than just goo. Boxx’s single “Cooter” is available on iTunes. She will be appearing at 11 p.m. Friday, June 1, at Missie B’s in Kansas City, Mo.

In a recent YouTube video, Karmin makes a welcoming messaging for their upcoming Kansas City performance: “We celebrate LGBT diversity and civil liberties and can’t wait to share our music with you.”

DJ James Torres

Heavy innovative beats mix with the catchy, ethnic, pulse-pounding beats to make good hard-hitting club music. Be prepared to get up and move, because he’s made to make you sweat on the dance floor. Torres is joining DJ Jeff-E as a host of Bear Bust: PRIDE from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday, June 2, at Hamburger Mary’s in Kansas City, Mo.
